G4V pursues its mission through free guitar instruction and a new acoustic guitar in a structured program run by volunteers, primarily through the Veterans Administration VA facilities and centers. Veterans are typically referred to the G4V program by their mental health provider. The healing power of music helps veterans deal with PTSD issues.
