The purpose of this program is to boost interest and proficiency in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) by challenging public school teachers and students in grades 6-12 to show how STEM can be applied to help improve their local community. Rather than providing monetary awards, this program provides prize packages including Samsung technology and classroom resources that will allow teachers to build the critical thinking and leadership skills of their students.
